Choosing the right credential
Cards are cheap and fast, but they get shared and lost. Fingerprint readers stop card sharing, but struggle with workers whose hands are dusty or worn. Face recognition is contact-free and works well in busy offices and clinics. We recommend the credential based on who uses the door and how often, and many sites mix two types.
Safety comes first
Every access-controlled door we install fails safe where the fire plan requires it, so it releases when the fire alarm triggers or power is lost. We fit a break-glass unit on escape routes and wire the system to your fire alarm panel where one exists.
Access control and attendance together
Most of the readers we install can also record staff attendance. One device at the staff entrance can open the door and feed your time attendance system, which saves the cost of a separate machine.

Questions people ask
What happens to the door if the power goes off?
That depends on the lock. Magnetic locks release when power is lost, which suits escape routes. Where the door must stay locked, we use fail-secure strikes and add a battery backup so the system keeps working through short outages.
Can I add or remove staff myself?
Yes. We set up the software or app so your admin team can enrol new staff, cancel lost cards and change door schedules without calling us.
Can access control work with my CCTV?
Yes. With compatible Hikvision or ZKTeco equipment, door events can be linked to camera footage so you can see who opened a door at a given time.
Do you install access control for residential buildings?
Yes. We install lobby, car park and roof door access for residential buildings, often combined with a video intercom for visitors.
